Got up this morning and fought off an elevation/beer hangover to go ride up at Cedro Peak, just outside of Albuquerque. It was rough going until I got the caffeine and adrenaline to take over.
It's super dry here, like it has not rained in over a month or so. Some parts of the trail were just powder up over the rim. This made traction a little interesting at high speed. The picture of my forearm is courtesy of a small tree. Yes, they do fight back when push comes to shove.
Hope to get some more in tomorrow. The climbing is crazy, I had over 1,600ft in under 15 miles. Do the math. Having a blast, wish you guys were here. Over and out.
